Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has officially entered India’s fast-speed electric two-wheeler segment with the launch of OSM Vextra, priced at ₹99,900.
The new electric scooter marks the company’s expansion beyond commercial electric vehicles into the personal urban mobility space, targeting everyday commuters and professionals across Indian cities.
Manufactured at OSM’s Faridabad facility, the Vextra has been positioned as a high-performance yet affordable electric scooter. It offers a top speed of 70 km/h and a real-world riding range of over 110 km per charge, aiming to address the growing demand for practical, long-range electric mobility solutions in India.
Designed for Urban and Semi-Urban India
The launch comes at a time when India’s electric two-wheeler market is rapidly shifting from low-speed models to higher-speed, longer-range vehicles.
Rising fuel prices, increasing urban congestion, and supportive government policies have accelerated the adoption of electric scooters for both personal commuting and professional use.
OSM plans to leverage its 200+ strong pan-India dealer network to expand the reach of Vextra across Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III cities. The company says the scooter has been designed to balance affordability, comfort, safety, and sustainability for daily urban usage.

Battery, Performance and Smart Features
OSM Vextra is powered by a 3.45 kWh IP67-rated LMFP battery paired with a 3 kW BLDC hub motor, delivering consistent performance across city roads and flyovers. The scooter offers a gradeability of 12 degrees, making it suitable for varied urban terrain.
Riders can choose from three riding modes – Eco, City, and Sports, depending on performance and efficiency requirements. The scooter also features a 3.5-inch colour LCD display that provides real-time information such as state of charge (SOC), speed, and distance-to-empty (DTE).
Additional features include USB charging, reverse parking assist, optional GSM connectivity, and fast home charging capability, with 0–80% charging in around 4 hours and a full charge in approximately 5 hours.

With the launch of Vextra, Omega Seiki Mobility strengthens its position in India’s evolving EV ecosystem, signaling a clear move toward mass-market, technology-driven electric mobility solutions for both domestic and international markets.
Manufacturing and Global Expansion Plans
The OSM Vextra will be produced at Omega Seiki Mobility’s Faridabad manufacturing facility, which has an annual production capacity of 25,000 units. In addition to the Indian market, the company plans to export the electric scooter to African markets, strengthening its global presence.
Looking ahead, OSM is also preparing to expand its two-wheeler portfolio with the launch of an electric motorcycle for Middle Eastern and African markets, signalling its long-term ambitions in global electric mobility.
